What is Edublox?

  • Does your child have the ability to excel academically, yet struggles to reach their full potential?
  • Is your child battling to concentrate, plan and organise, or is their memory poor?
  • Does your child struggle with reading? Do they, for example, confuse b and d?
  • Does your child read slowly and hesitantly, or with poor comprehension?
  • Does your child spell words as they sound, for example, “rite” for “right”?
  • Does your child find maths to be a challenge? Do they, for example, encounter difficulties with mental arithmetic?
  • Has your child been diagnosed with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia or ADHD?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above, your child probably lacks some of the tools required for learning.

Edublox gives the tools for learning!

When you have the right tools, any task will be accomplished with greater ease and efficiency. Imagine, for example, trying to mix cement with a spoon rather than a cement mixer. Imagine trying to mow the lawn with a pair of scissors!

Cognitive skills — concentration, perception, memory and logical thinking — are mental skills used in acquiring knowledge, and can be considered your child’s tools for learning.

Research has shown that cognitive skills are a determining factor of an individual’s learning ability, the skills that “separate the good learners from the so-so learners.” In essence, when cognitive skills are strong, learning is fast and easy. When cognitive skills are weak, learning becomes a challenge.

The great news is that these weaknesses can be attacked head-on. Cognitive skills can be improved, strengthened, and enhanced through dynamic training and practice.

In addition, Edublox provides tutoring to bridge academic gaps caused by reading, spelling, reading comprehension, or maths difficulties.

Edublox specialises in educational interventions that make children smarter, help them learn and read faster and do maths with ease. Our programs enable learners to overcome reading difficulties and other learning obstacles, assisting them in becoming life-long learners and empowering them to realise their highest educational goals.

Contact Edublox today and give your child the gift of achievement. It’s an investment — for life!

800+ Documented successes

For over 30 years, Edublox has been a beacon of hope for thousands of children, from preschool to high school, offering a unique integrative approach that has led to their long-term academic success.

Our programs have not only alleviated the symptoms of children diagnosed with learning disabilities but also transformed struggling students into average to top achievers at school and later at university.

One of our inspiring success stories is that of Abraham Smit. After being diagnosed with dyslexia and experiencing academic setbacks, his mother discovered the Edublox system when he was in Grade 6.

Abraham’s progress was remarkable, leading him to eventually earn a master’s degree at university.

Another success story is Hlulani, a Grade 6 student from Phalaborwa who struggled with English and Afrikaans and failed in school.

As a result of the cognitive training and academic support he received at Edublox, Hlulani’s average increased by 32%, and he passed after failing term 1 and 2 in 2023. Hlulani’s dad said: “I thank you for inspiring my child to come out of his shell. Thank you for creating such a fun and educational environment for Hlulani.”

Fairuz Isaac enrolled her daughter Yumna in Edublox when she was failing Grade 11. Through Yumna’s hard work and support from Edublox, she eventually peaked in her academic career in matric with an average of 66%.

After matric, Yumna started pursuing a B.Ed degree at the University of Western Cape. She has been awarded the Dean’s Merit List Certificate for her outstanding performance in Languages and Mathematics.
