When Zancha was diagnosed with dyslexia, school became a daily struggle. Her reading skills lagged two years behind her peers, and her confidence was slipping away. Grade 4 was, in her mother Adel’s words, “a nightmare.”
Desperate for help, Adel turned to Edublox.
“Two years ago, we knocked on Sue’s door with hearts pounding in our throats. Zancha couldn’t read. She was falling further and further behind, and her marks just kept dropping.”
— Adel, 2017
Sue from Edublox offered a realistic but hopeful path forward: no quick fixes, but a program grounded in patience, science, and structured support.

The turnaround
By the middle of Grade 6, the results were undeniable. Zancha’s academic performance had improved dramatically. She became more confident, engaged, and optimistic about school.
“Her marks improved drastically. She’s more positive about her schoolwork and believes in herself more. I don’t know where we would be without Sue and Edublox.”
— Adel, 2017
And it wasn’t just about grades. A school psychologist confirmed measurable cognitive gains:
- 25-point increase in non-verbal IQ (from 96 to 100)
- 14-point increase in total IQ (from 84 to 98)

2023: No accommodations, just achievement
Fast-forward to Grade 12: Zancha finishes strong, earning a Top-20 Academic Award in Term 2 of Grade 12—without any accommodations or concessions.
.
2024: The student becomes a teacher
After passing Grade 12 in 2023, Zancha begins her journey as an education student. In October, she scores an impressive 71.7% average.
“There is only ONE program, and that’s Edublox.”
— Adel, 2017
